As I had a bit of time today - and was completely knackered from Christmas shopping - I finally got around to checking The Kingdom of Loathing out, something I had bookmarked for quite a while now.

Initial experience is good, it looks like a silly waste of time, registration is a breeze and after less then a minute I was ready to adventure.

After I chose a 'Sauceger', armed with a bit of gravy dripping magic and a saucepan, it came that I found myself on Mt. Noob shortly after. Here a rather helpful bird "The Toot Oriole" guided me through what must be the tutorial. Soon I found myself in a dangerous 1 vs 1 situation as pictured below:

After my heart stopped pounding and I sufficiently rested from this nasty encounter, I ran some other errants for the Toot Oriole, after which I explored some other aspects of the game. Such as wether or not there is any direct PvP. My question was soon answered when I arrived at my campsite and noticed a rather odd looking object there:

So there is PvP too - cool. I'm not going to spoil your experience by showing more screenshots and telling you about experiences from all over the game as part of the humour is really seeing it for yourself the first time. Let's suffice to say it is quite a laugh and I plan to login every now and then to advance my character. Perhaps even do some "PvP" (If you can call something like this PvP) but I think I should first work on my character:

So with this I will leave you now, I am going to take my Familiar for some hunting.
